Top 5 Wednesday - 14/12/16

Happy Wednesday!! This week's topic for T5W is : Series That Got Worse Each Book/Season. If you want to know everything about this T5W, you can  click on this   amazing link which will take you to Goodreads.   T5W was created by Lainey but is now managed by Samantha! 5. Hush, Hush - Becca Fitzpatrick: I actually still have 1 book left until I complete this series, but I still know my opinion will be the same. I think I waited too long to continue on with the next book after the second and third one and this effect my thoughts on the novels. The protagonist seemed to not progress or grow into a more mature person over the course of the series and it became more difficult for me to relate to her experiences and herself as a character.  4. American Horror Story: Okay, okay. I know what you're thinking... HOW COULD I? Well, I remember watching the first season and being so captivated and in love with this amazingly creepy show and then I watched season two

Birthday Book Tag

Image
Soo, I recently found this tag on  LibroLiv's Blog  and thought I would do it as my birthday is next week on the 2nd of November!  1. Count your birth day along your bookshelf and then subtract your birth month. What book does it land on?  The BFG by Roald Dahl . This is my all time favourite childhood book. This is the first book I remember picking up and reading. I then fell in love with his work and continued to read The Witches and many more of his books. 2. If you could spend your birthday with any fictional character who would it be and why? Ooh, I love this question! It is a very hard one to answer though as I love so many characters. I think I will choose Etienné St. Clair because I think he would know how to make my birthday very very special and plus he is not only gorgeous, but he gets the feels going most definitely. 3. Find a book that takes place in the season you were born in. I'm going to choose November 9 by Colleen Hoover  for this one.

Favourite Bookish Fandoms

Image
I have always been a part of a fandom ever since I first entered the crazy internet. The first fandom I ever joined was obviously One Direction back in 2012 and I had my dedicated Instagram fan page, but as I got into books the variety of fandoms I was associated in was more than a handful. Here are some of my favourites:  The Harry Potter Fandom: This fandom has to be the longest and most dedicated one on this list for me. The amount of Harry Potter stuff I own is ridiculous. The amount of times I have read the books and seen the movies is crazy, but my love for the Harry Potter series will never end. These books started my love for reading and my admiration for diving into new worlds. I will forever and always be in the Harry Potter fandom.  Shadowhunter Fandom - TMI & TID: I am also a member of the shadowhunter fandom of course. How could I not be? My love for not only the concept for shadowhunters, but the amazing characters we are introduced to in these bo

Here are all the books I wish to read in the lovely month of September! I'm not aiming too high as I just got out of a small reading slump, but we shall see! I'm back!!!

Hello everyone!  I know it has been awhile :(  I went to Japan! My plan was to post while I was over there, but I went to Japan with school and it honestly just wasn't possible without driving myself crazy. I do this for fun, not as a chore so I wanted to keep it that way! I hopefully will get back into the rhythm of things soon and will be posting often and catching up on what I missed :) My time in Japan was amazing though, everyday was filled with something new and I had a ball.  I went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and it was the most amazing experience I have ever had! I also bought some cute bookmarks which you can see on my instagram  here. Go check out my instagram to see updates and everything else! : BOOKSTAGRAM :  https://www.instagram.com/brooklyn.reads/?hl=en PERSONAL :  https://www.instagram.com/brooklyn.egan/?hl=en

The Sims Book Tag

Image
This book tag was created by the wonderful Hailey at  Hails Hearts NYC . She is by far my favourite booktuber! You should defiantly check her youtube out! I absolutely loved the idea of this tag as I play sims and it was just so creative! THE SIMS BOOK TAG 1. The original Sims: the best author debut. City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare. Her first published novel that was brilliant and has now turned into something huge and amazing! 2. The grim reaper: the saddest character death. No spoiling here, but someone from either Harry Potter or The Hunger Games. 3. Sims getting stuck: a character that just got in the way. I couldn't really think of a character for this one as I believe all charcters have a purpose in all books and even if they are just "filler" characters than that is there purpose. I don't think I have ever read a book and have thought that this particular character shouldn't have been in it. 4. Simlish: a book wi
