Pushing The Limits - Katie McGarry : REVIEW

Title: Pushing The Limits

Author: Katie McGarry

Series or Standalone: Companion Series

Genre: Young Adult

Format: Paperback

Publication Date: August 3rd 2012

Goodreads Summary:

What if the last person you should fall in love with is only one who can save you? I won't tell anyone, Echo. I promise. Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. You didn't do that - did you. It was done to you?

My Review :

I went into this book thinking it was going to be like every "Bad boy meets good girl" book and it kind of was, but it had a few stronger aspects included. I actually quite like this genre, but I honestly didn't expect too much from it. This book had some tough topics throughout it and I thought Katie dealt with perfectly. I enjoyed the different perspectives and I felt like she perfectly portrayed Echo as well as Noah. I loved the character development throughout this book and the way everything ended up in the end was satisfying. I thought there was going to be a lot more "action" in this book funnily enough, but I was heavily surprised. I enjoyed reading this book, but Noah didn't bring me to my knees like most male protagonists usually do and that was what I was really looking for in this book. Other than that I recommend you read it!
